Helmut – the digital finishing of printed webs based on inkjet technology.
Its unique design allows for the machine-finished webs to be fed back to the unwinding stage. This eliminates the need to remove the rolls and perform time-consuming rewinding in separate machines. As a result, not only can different designs be printed in multiple passes, but even very high varnish loads can be achieved on a single web. This enables the digital printing of not only fine structures but also clearly tactile hazard symbols and even Braille on the web. A web guide ensures safe web handling, web cleaning, and corona treatment for optimal finishing results. The printed image can be checked after finishing using static monitoring. This allows for precise positioning and verification of the print at all times, preventing customer complaints.
The HelmutFinishing systems are available in different designs and web widths from 370 mm to 1.150 mm.
Depending on the desired range of functions as well as additional modules or extensions, the rental model can be adapted accordingly.
